Šilalės rajono savivaldybės kultūros centro Atvirame jaunimo centre nuo 2024 m. gegužės 6 d. savanoriauja savanoris iš Gruzijos –Vakhtang Chkhitaur. ,,My name is Vakhtang Chkhitauri, I am from Gori, Georgia and I am 27 years old. I studied IT engineering at Ilia state university. Worked as a trail specialist and crew leader trainer and project manager at TCT (TransCaucasian trail). I spent a lot of time in mountains building trails and leading crews in remote areas and have been to many beautiful places in Georgia. My love to forests and mountains come from my origins, since my ancestral lands are in mountains as well. I am looking forward to get to know more about Lithuania – it’s culture, people and lifestyle, Šilalė is interesting small town with a lot of forest which I like a lot and this place looks just right to me.”
